Was completely stripped to bare frame, all bearings ultrasonic cleaned and re packed with waterproof ceramic grease. That’s head set, bottom bracket, both sets of wheel bearings. I even did the pedals in the same way (are new to begin with though).
Front cranks and chainring replaced with Shimano take offs from a nearly new Diamondback mountain bike with larger 28-38-48 chainrings, chain is brand new KMC Z-series. Rear Cassette replaced with brand new Shimano 12-32 Hyper-glide.
Rear derailleur has been upgraded to ball bearing pulleys and an oversized narrow/wide pattern tension pulley fit to cope with the larger chainring. Suffice to say this bike pedals and shifts very cleanly and has a HUGE rang of gearing from ultra low for hills and enough high gear to get some serious road bike speed.
Shift cables and housings new Jagwire, brake cables and brake pads brand new Jagwire units as well. New diamond texture grips as well.
Wheels straightened and trued, spokes correctly tensioned. Tires and tubes brand new as well.
