Ruston Paving Co., Inc., a commercial paving and site work contractor in the Rochester area, has job openings for Class A or Class A Restricted CDL Drivers to drive a dump truck and sometimes trailer equipment.
Positions are available in Rochester as well as our other offices in NY, VA and NC.
In addition to the Rochester area, Ruston Paving, which has been in business since 1943, operates divisions in Syracuse and Watertown, NY; Manassas and Richmond, VA; Durham and Greensboro, NC. Our innovative and growth oriented organization provides a culture of teamwork where outstanding performance is encouraged, recognized and rewarded.
Drivers must possess a Class A or Class A Restricted license, current medical card and preferably have 2 years related driving experience hauling construction materials (spoils, asphalt, or stone). If we don't feel you have the necessary experience, we can train you to our standards if you're willing to learn. Special consideration will be given to those individuals who can also operate equipment (backhoe and/or dozer) or that have experience hauling construction equipment. Individuals should be organized, have solid communication skills and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have a valid drivers license.
Potential candidates must also pass a drug test, criminal background check and a motor vehicle records check.
Wages are based on experience. Compensation package will also include:
