Large, established remodeling company has an immediate opening for a measure technician and field supervisor to assist in project management for residential siding, window and roofing jobs in Rochester (including Syracuse and Buffalo).
Job Description:
• Responsible for meeting with all customers to verify work scope and re-confirm final measurements
• Oversee sub-contractor crews (including quality of workmanship, scheduling, etc...)
• Must have an extensive background in measuring and installing replacement windows and roofing
• Provide exact order sizes for all window replacement projects
• Provide a detailed material takeoff for all roofing projects
• Provide detailed notes to installers to ensure the job gets installed correctly and on time
• Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations and provide solutions.
• Job site inspections to ensure quality of install crews
• Assist in process of pulling permits
Job Responsibilities - Qualification and Skill Requirements:
• Demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision making skills
• Reasonably tech savvy (mobile phone, text, email, etc...)
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics
• Solid communication skills; clear and readable written documents, graphics & drawings
• Proven organizational skills; prioritize and organize tasks efficiently and effectively
• Willingness to work variable work hours, adapt to schedule changes
• Valid driver's license
