Hand Cranked Drill Press made by the ACME Company in the early 1900's (1900-1910). It is labeled ACME #1 (possibly a first edition?) This Wall Mounted Drill Press is still usable but it is not electric it is operated manually by turning the wheel. It's very heavy. The drill itself measures 36” long 39” long to the top of the handle x 10” wide. The board it is mounted on is 38” long. It could be used for a drill in a woodworking, carpentry, mechanic or blacksmith shop. It could also be in one of those shop's (or others) mentioned as a display item. It could be painted or pressure washed and be used for a steampunk item. It could be used as part of your lawn landscaping. It was probably bought new and mounted in a basement of an old farmhouse from the 1800's which was held in the same family for 5 generations. For it's age it is in excellent condition We are selling the Antique Drill Press AS IS. We only accept cash. Thanks for looking.
