I did all the research before building this cart and heres what I concluded.
You want a Club Car for its aluminum frame and proven reliable track record not the fancy Chinese junk. You want at least a 2014 or newer model that has the updated charging system and controller and only purchase a 6 battery model(not 4 battery)or lithium(be careful with lithium and cold weather though, do your research). I went with a 4" lift vs 6" for stability and it fits the 22" tires perfectly without rubbing. Don't do a junk spindle lift or any of the other cheap ones. Only do an A-Arm Lift or if you want to go all out a long travel but there expensive. All Sports has the best quality along with a couple other big brands that I can't remember their names. Even if you don't buy my cart I hope something in here helps when you're researching the black hole of golf cart options!
I built this cart for myself last year but I ended up purchasing a SxS instead.
If it sells before winter I will include the heater setup otherwise I'll be putting it in my SxS. Works great! You can ride around in single digits and it's 75 degrees in the cart.
