Hi we've had 20 wonderful years at this beautiful Camp Cottage on the lake. It's not for everyone but if you are an adventurous, outdoors lover and in good shape this is a gem in the rough! We are at the bottom of a mountain (actually Bare Hill)) so you cannot drive to it. We do have steep mountain driveway up above which is off East Lake Road and we do have shared parking there for a few cars but it's tricky to show people if they don't have a boat because East Lake Road is 650 feet above the lake where our Cottage is. It's easier to come by boat as we are directly on the water. The most beautiful part of the lake too with awesome sunsets! It's a rustic handyman special although you can live here "as is" there are repairs to be made such as the stairs and letting you know that we have a sawdust toilet right now because we disconnected the toilet because the dec wants all of us "High Banks" People that are directly on the water to pump the septic up to the Midway. We did get a Grant for that and We're waiting for the Engineer to give us the plan. He figures it will be approx $20k to do it and we did apply and got approved for a $10k Grant towards that. Because of the inconvenience of stairs to get down the Hill, We've been boating people in and out by pontoon boat to Vine Valley. It's only a 4 or 5 minute boat ride and has a cute General Store with a little Beach so it's a pleasant pick up and drop off area for our guests. If you are interested in this fully furnished camp/cottage we are including the working Pontoon Boat, Boat Hoist,Kayaks and all Beds, Furniture & Appliances, Pot Belly Wood Stove and Fireplace. We have a new Architectural Metal Roof with Lifetime Guarantee so you can enjoy it "as is" with our Hillbilly Toilet lol or put in some money and time to make it a nice Family Cottage. Oh yeah there is space at top of our property to build another little cabin too if you want to be in woods just off the East lake Road. Looking for a Cash Buyer, no Mortgages, we own free and clear so you could move in and enjoy now . We usually turn water off end of October but if you heat tape the water lines can stay open all winter.
