I have a male Lesser Tenrec (Echinops telfairi) in need of rehoming. He is a genetically sexed male, and he has bred once accidentally as I thought he was a female and kept him with another female. Now he is kept separate. This is an exotic animal and it is NOT a hedgehog despite looking like a hedgehog. The care requirements for a Lesser tenrec and common African Pygmy hedgehog are quite different.
I have included pictures of the Tenrec in need of rehoming along with a picture of general information and care requirements. I am asking for a $100.00 rehoming fee NON-NEGOTIABLE, if you do your research you will realize this is a steal for this animal. I am rehoming him because I am NOT interested in breeding them and already have three females who reside together. Males cannot be kept with other males and if kept with females will likely breed. I will NOT ship, I can include a running wheel, but you will need to provide an enclosure, supplies, and food, see image of care requirements if needed in the AD.
