Hi, I live in the South Wedge and am looking for a bassist to put together a project forecasted to be approximately 1/2 covers and 1/2 originals that will tap into previously established connections around town from prior bar / club work in bands existing across the past twenty years as a part-time musician / science and math tutor that has been highly driven and as a result has had significant success in both realms, primarily locally but has also done moderate touring through New York City, Northampton MA, Ithaca NY, Hartford CT, Albany NY, Philadelphia PA, and Elmira NY. Sight-reading is a plus as the majority of the music is charted but this isn't essential as I also have tablature. My most significant effort here in the Rochester area was perhaps "Stone Spoon Baboon". Here is a link to perhaps one of our most 'go to' song in our repetoire: it is called "Wax" and the recording is from the Park Avenue Festival: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QPLpY9waOM&list=RD6QPLpY9waOM&start_radio=1
I also figure I provide a more recent recording. This is called "Eben Flow" and is an offering from the catalogue of "September Member and the Mad Lads", a much more recent outfit that recently disbanded because the drummer caught a DWI and lived in Honeoye NY and would've required being picked up by the bassist every time we had a practice or gig here in the city. With the bassist living in Canandaigua NY, this would've required approximately an hour and 45 minutes of extra driving on his part each time, which we came to a consensus was not feasible and thus decided to disband. However, the band gigged regularly and specifically established a monthly comedy & music Monroe Avenue block party gig with consistent pay of $120 for an approximately hour-long set which yes was a little low-ball pay-wise but was consistent and came out to approximately twice minimum-wage for each musician involved and this project I'm forming would inherit these shows. Anyways though, here is "Eben Flow": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeW8QXWwUfY&list=RDjeW8QXWwUfY&start_radio=1
Anyways, I suppose I leave you with a bass and guitar demo that has racked up approximately two and a half thousand views since its sharing a few years back. It's an interesting piece that has been deemed 'jazzy' and I believe invokes somewhat of an 'Arabian' feel with the main guitar riff that I believe would be much more effective with a little overdrive but I do believe it stands alone as is in this recording. Anyways, here is "Slip", a track laid down by myself on guitar and vocals and Devin Johnston on bass, a fantastic musician that fronts the relatively successful Rochester band "Nerds in Denial" in his other time:

Well there you have it: three tracks on youTube that I believe significantly portray my progress as a guitarist / vocalist / composer that should shed light on my capabilities and potential for more. If you decide you're interested, feel free to call or text me anytime at five eight five - five five two - one three five five. If I'm not tied up at the given moment, I will gladly take your call and we can shoot the shit for a bit. I do have a highly capable drummer that I've been gigging with who will continue to work with me. But yes, have a great day regardless and keep on jamming!
