Hello, I am an experienced guitar player in my fifties, looking for an opportunity to play and perform with quality, like minded musicians in the Rochester and surrounding areas. I have a strong base knowledge of diatonic chord theory and harmony. I am a well rounded player with a good musical vocabulary, and can play whatever the situation calls for at any given time. (Lead and/or Rhythm) I thought it would be worth mentioning, since I see so many bands and players fixated on this "lead" and "rhythm" designation. Let's face it, nobody wants to play with an insecure, egomaniac who obsesses over being in the spotlight. I'm guessing most people know exactly what I'm talking about. I also have experience singing backups and harmonies. I'm open to most genres, and to performing 2 to 3 times per month.
