Time to part with some great pedals. All these pedals are in great working order, have Velcro on the bottom, and most come w/ the boxes and manuals as pictured. I have too many pedals and pretty much have bought all the newest versions of the Pettyjohn stuff.
Prices are FIRM and more than fair. CASH only. Check Reverb to see current prices. Yes some of the prices seem high, but watch the demos and check the prices online. They don't market like JHS, but their stuff and customer service is way better in my opinion.
Pettyjohn Lift v2. $200 I've had every version of this pedal so I'm getting rid of the older ones. I paid $300 (was actually $377, but I I preordered it). This has the the Hi Cut Mod and the Soviet D2E Germanium diodes (supposedly those used in the Klon) in there. This one uses part of the Predrive circuit to add some grit to the pedal. It’s amazing – It can be an always on pedal to add some sparkle/clarity, a boost pedal, or a low OD pedal. Here's where I think it shines: If you play w/ a tube amp that is just a little dirty, on the brink of break up, then this pedal will push your amp right to that sweet spot without compromising the tone of your amp. Super versatile!! The Lift is one of my favorite all time pedals. I'm only selling it b/c I got the newest version.
Pettyjohn Lift Ltd. $250. I paid $400. Crazy, I know, but if you can't tell, I'm a Pettyjohn fanboy. Their stuff is that good IMO. As previously said, I've had every version of this pedal and each one is better than the last. The Ltd. takes all that is great about v2 and provides the following:
Component Quality (The LTD Mod): The LTD (Limited) version replaces standard components with premium, hand-selected boutique parts, most notably upgrading the signal path with ultra-high-end capacitors.
Sonic Nuances: Users and professional reviews consistently note that the LTD mod delivers a smoother, more articulate high-end, greater touch sensitivity, and a larger, three-dimensional depth.
Internal Clipping Options: The LTD modifications typically feature refined internal clipping options, allowing for a more organic, tube-like harmonic break-up when you engage the pedal's internal drive circuit. The stock diodes are replaced with rare vintage Soviet D2E germanium diodes (circa 1977), resulting in a tighter, more articulate, and mid-forward harmonic growl when pushed
Pettyjohn Royal $275. Again, fanboy. This is way less than I paid, and less than you'll find it on Reverb. This is based on the Chime pedal and I've had all the versions of that too. It's low to mid OD tones, extremely versatile, and you won't be disappointed. Think AC30 in a box, but this pedal is voiced more towards a Matchless DC30. According to Pettyjohn, "The Royal differs from traditional Vox-style 'top boost' pedals by offering more depth in the midrange, a sweeter top end, and Matchless-style 'mojo'." This one has the Dual 990 Discrete Opamp Mod which is a, "premium Custom Shop upgrade that replaces standard operational amplifiers with two studio-grade 990-style discrete op-amps, drastically improving dynamic response, transparency, and note definition." Again, I'm only selling it b/c I got the most recent version of their Chime pedal.
Pettyjohn Gold MkII w/ all the mods (see pic) $275. Marshall in a box. Seriously - turns my Princeton Reverb into a rock machine. I had and sold the previous version and I'm selling this b/c I just got the newest version.
Skreddy Hybrid Fuzz Driver $150. A one stop shop for everything from boost to Distortion. Super versatile. If you know about Skreddy, you know he knows his dirt circuits.
