Classic stratocaster appointments like the classic 6-point tremolo are paired with modern appointments like the mud-preventing Greasebucket Tone Circuit make this model a perfect combination of tradition and innovation.
The newly designed Yosemite pickups are some of the best I've heard in a strat before. They bring all the spanky and clear tone with the addition of a contemporary heft that can keep up with any humbucker.
Finally adding in a push-pull switch that adds the neck pickup into any pickup combination means that previously inaccessible tones can be had. The tele-esque Neck and Bridge combo is one of my favorites.
This is a beatiful, unmodified example of the American Performer. It includes it's Fender Gig Bag but is missing the trem arm.
