2000 Taylor 612ce Grand Concert | Excellent Condition | Beautiful Figured Maple | Original Case & Case Candy
For sale is my 2000 Taylor 612ce Grand Concert acoustic-electric in excellent condition.
This guitar has lived a remarkably sheltered life. The original owner purchased it new in 2000, played it only briefly, and then stored it in its original case for many years. I purchased it from him and have continued to care for it in the same manner. As a result, it remains an exceptionally clean, original example with no cracks, no repairs, no structural issues, and no abuse or heavy use.
The result is an exceptionally well-preserved early California-built Taylor 612ce that remains in outstanding cosmetic and playing condition.
The solid Sitka spruce top has naturally aged into a beautiful warm honey-amber color over the past 25 years, perfectly complementing the highly figured flamed maple back and sides. The maple figuring on this guitar is especially striking and gives it a truly distinctive appearance.
The Grand Concert body is extremely comfortable to play and delivers the articulate, balanced voice that made the 612ce a favorite among fingerstyle players while still offering excellent projection for flatpicking and light strumming.
