Looking for the "Swiss Army Knife" of Telecasters? This is the rare, pre-redesign Acoustasonic made for a brief window around 2011. Unlike the newer hollow-body versions with the sound holes, this model features a traditional semi-hollow Tele body with a sophisticated dual-voice system designed for the stage.
The Technology:
Acoustic Side: Features the Fishman Aura System with an under-saddle piezo. This isn't just a "thin" piezo sound; it uses digital "images" to model rich, full-bodied acoustic tones.
Electric Side: A classic Magnetic Neck Pickup for those unmistakable Telecaster cleans and bluesy grit.
Stereo or Mono: Use the included stereo Y-cable to send your acoustic signal to the PA and your electric signal to a tube amp simultaneously. Or, run a standard mono cable and flip between them on the fly.
Condition & Playability: Design: This feels like a "real" Telecaster in your hands—perfect for players who find the newer Acoustasonics too light or toy-like.
Condition: Very Good. Well-cared for and plays beautifully. Rosewood fingerboard and a comfortable "C" shape neck. Not out of the box mint, but only having minimal signs of wear and use.
What’s Included: Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster. Original Stereo Y-Cable (essential for the dual-output setup). Original Gig Bag.
Price & Location:
Price: $900
Location: Pick up in Rochester, NY area.
Seller’s Note: Don't confuse this with the current $1,000+ Player series or the American Acoustasonics. This is a specific era of Fender history that many players prefer for its solid-body feel and the superior Fishman Aura modeling.
