Essential Functions:
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Set up and run various grinding jobs within given time requirements.
• Set up and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines when necessary.
• Perform inspection to ensure good quality.
• Run production grinding work.
• Work extra hours required to maintain customer delivery requirements.
• Produce quality products that well represent MWI and you.
• Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to comply with Tokai Carbon GS standards of operations.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance routines on grinding equipment.
Qualifications:
• Blue-print reading skills are needed.
• Experience dressing grinding wheels. (Radii/Angle grinding a plus )
• Ability to set up and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines.
• Able to design and fixture parts as necessary to complete jobs.
• Ability/Availability to work overtime in order to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, comparators, CMM experience a plus.
• Shop math skills. (strong trigonometry)
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to allow proper communication between co-workers and management.
• Ability to work to metric dimensions.
• Experience with Lean and ISO systems.
Compensation
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20.00-$24.00 per hour.
