From the venerable establishment in Black Rock, now demolished.
$10/square foot, so a 6' long piece costs $200.
Slabs - 2.25" x 42" x various lengths between 6' and 9'.
Mostly Hard Maple, with some Southern Yellow Pine, old growth or newer, mostly older.
Tight-grained, hard wood compared to other pines and spruces.
Some pieces are maple. Some lane markings.
Nailed together, quite tight. Has supportive cross boards screwed to the underside.
