Successful leasing, construction and development company is seeking a hard-working Building Maintenance Worker to join our facilities management team. This position will assist with the maintenance and repair of a number of commercial and industrial properties located throughout Monroe County and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, roof repairs, concrete and asphalt repairs, minor
plumbing repairs, painting, etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Maintenance of warehouse and equipment
• Garden/yard upkeep by lawn mowing, collecting trash, watering of plants and flowers, salting and snow removal of entrances and
around buildings
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Reports to Facilities Manager
Requirements:
General Construction or Prior Facilities Maintenance Experience
Mechanical Skills
Attention to Detail
Valid Driver’s License
