Diesel Generator, 6500 Watts 220/120 volts Remote Start, Includes 50 Gallons of diesel fuel, The tank is full.

Custom configured with remote start, 1000 foot range. It's built on a custom designed fuel tank with the capacity to hold fifty gallons of fuel. It's mounted on a heavy duty lumber cart so it can be stored in side then moved out side to run.

During a week long power outage I operated my whole house intermittently but it was “on” most of the time and I only consumed 3/4 of the fuel by the time the power was restored a week later. The hour meter reads about 110 hours from that event. It has a new battery (08/20) with a built in 12 volt auto maintainer charger.

The built in alternator on the engine charges the battery when running.

220/120 volt output will fully power almost any average size residential home for a week or longer. I have a detached garage for generator storage. I then installed an under ground cable and receptacle at the garage to plug in the generator. The cable was wired directly to my main electric panel that includes a utility disconnect switch/breaker.

A natural gas hook up was outrageously expensive from RGE, 5K! Propane tank of any large size needed to be installed underground, another 5K!

For these reasons I choose to use a diesel powered generator with an extended run sized fuel tank.

Unlike gasoline that will eventually go bad over months of storage diesel fuel does not go bad when properly stored and can last for many years without degrading.

It is powered by a single cylinder air cooled engine that’s very simple to operate and run with the onboard panel or use the remote control to start and stop the generator.

The fuel tank is full with approximately fifty gallons of diesel fuel at today’s prices is worth an extra two hundred and fifty bucks!
