I am looking to re home a lovely minimal roan 14 yr old Bay mare. MJ is a USFS mare out of CA. She is halter broke and leads but she is very shy and needs someone who can really put some time consistently into her which I have minimally and overall need to trim down on trainee mouths to feed this winter. She would be a great winter project for someone who would like to own a "wild horse" that's not entirely wild and thereby much more predictable for less experienced handlers. She will stay in shorter fences and gets along fine with domestic horses ( would be a fantastic pasture companion ). MJ leads, halters, lunges w/t/c on a lunge line or in a round pen and we've started working on handling her feet.

We would additionally consider boarding her for interested parties who'd like to take lessons and who can put in the consistent work with her. Please reach out for further interest on this gorgeous girl.
