Measurements: tabletop-21 3/4" wide X 60" long X 1 1/2" thick. There is an apron (skirt) directly below the top that measures 5 3/4" , so the overall depth of the top is 7 1/4". The apron is recessed 1 3/4" on all 4 sides. The table is 30" high, with 2 1/2" square legs. Metal casings, attached to the legs with bolts, cover the lower foot of the legs (for protection). The metal casing measures 2 1/4" on all sides and are 2 1/4" in height. The distance from back to front on the legs is 19". A stretcher connects the front and back legs, measuring 2 1/2" thick X X 1 11 1/2" wide X 14" long. The desk (table) is ideal for an office, but might work well in an entry way or living room. It is ideal for someone who has fond memories of the Sisters of St. Joseph and the original motherhouse on East Avenue, Pittsford, NY. The table is on the second floor and will have to be carried down 6 steps down to the front exit. As said, it is very heavy as is the piece of plate glass
