The transmission failed on our Maytag model A612 Series II, serial 112068 BF Extra large capacity washer. All components except the transmission were in good working order at the time. Stripped the unit down before placing what was left down by the road. Maytag parts often work on a multitude of different models. Perhaps these parts could be of use to someone:

Right angle beige plastic hose connector $5
