Home made solar panel 4x8 feet made wit Pex 1/2" tubing, routed 2x4 border securing a 4x8 sheet of plywood, 3/4" foam board installed between main cross pieces. Pex is threaded every 3rd hole/all tubes joined at top and bottom of the panel. The inside of the panel has been sprayed with truck bed coating. Panel polycarbonate/transparent cover is weathered from the sun and may need replacing.
Panel was attached to our pool and under the regulated flow from the pump water would exit 13-15 degrees hotter than the pool mid day.
