SSP America operes several restaurants the Frederick Douglass Greer Rochester Internional Airport. As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in leading the team and supporting the Director of Operions to ensure smooth, efficient restaurant operions and th team members have the resources they need to succeed throughout their shift. 

Responsibilities as a Restaurant Shift Supervisor includes:

• Supporting the Management Team in ensuring th standards of service are consistently achieved by the team and team members. 
• Maintain brand operional standards and ensure th restaurant checklists and cleaning schedules are completed on a daily basis.
• Coach team members through the induction process by acting as training buddy to ensure a comprehensive oriention and maintenance of brand standards.
• Communice and clarify major job duties, priorities, and expections to team members
• Provide support, direction, and encouragement in helping the team succeed in delivering business goals.
• Establish and communice performance standards and monitor team member performance through observions, discussions, etc., and document both good and unacceptable performance accordingly.
• Assist team members in developing the skills and abilities necessary for improved performance.
• Ensure th products are of the highest quality.
• Responsibility for overseeing cash duties.

Qualificions and Experience

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food & beverage industry
• Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience, preferred
• Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situions with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communicion
