Selling my 2017 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium Wagon. Blue exterior and grey/black interior. Car is all wheel drive and in excellent condition mechanically and aesthetically. I have taken very good care of this vehicle, see photos all taken on 9/22/2025
Selling the Outback only because I switched to an EV. I have solar at the house, so between eliminating gas usage and the Federal tax incentive ending, it made for the right time to upgrade, even though I have loved this car and it has worked very well for me. Great cargo capacity (and length), comfortable ride, good handling, etc. This is a higher end model, comes with backup camera, lane detection, emergency braking, and variable cruise control. Climate controls, screen etc. are all in good working order.
I purchased this vehicle new from Van Bortel in 2017 and have 93,029 miles on it. I have a minimal commute and put on less than 12k a year, most of the is driving around the quite Village of Geneseo or in rural Livingston County (no city driving).
I have been very diligent on regular oil changes and repairs. I took the car in most recently on 9/22 for a check up ahead of putting it up for sale. Always serviced this at M&R Automotive in Geneseo. I have records available from all of my service available for inspection, if desired (only in-person…they are not digitized).
I added robust all-weather mats to the front foot wells at time of my purchase (which have taken the brunt of wear over the years, leaving the car in great shape). Car comes with those, and with original Subaru weather mats (mostly unused) and original rug mats (in original packaging). The rear foot wells have been protected by the Subaru weather mats - I very rarely carried passengers so those mats are in good shape; car comes with third-party all weather rear mat and cloth mats that are unused.
I added a Subaru plastic mat for the back cargo area immediately upon purchase, so the car has been well protected inside. Back of the rear seats also have the upgraded plastic backs, not cloth, so they have been protected too. The vast majority of my driving is with the rear seats down and covered, so the rear seats are spotless. The cargo mat taking the brunt of wear leaving the car in great shape.
Car comes with the middle headrest, not shown in photos as I forgot to install it before taking them. Also comes with a privacy slider that covers the cargo area, or can be taken out when not in use. Its in great shape.
The car comes with the original roof mount rack, but those were replaced professionally with custom roof rack rails (the Subaru factory rack could not fit my canoe/bike how I wanted, so I had the rack upgraded). The Subaru rails come detached. The cross bars and legs are not included but can be for $200. They are in okay shape, but do have some rusting, as I bought these used so they are older than the car.
Maintenance Highlights:
Replaced all four break pads/roters in February of 2023
Replaced all four tires in December of 2024
Replaced the resonator on 9/22/25 - it started making noise last week due to a hole, so I had that replaced. They also looked over the car for other issues and one of the front CV boots had a grease leak, so I had them replace that too. No other leaks/issues from the look over.
Everything in good working order on this car.
The trip meter shows that the car is averaging 26.4 miles per gallon for the “A” trip which averaged the last ~8,847 miles driven.
