This is a genuine barn find. We are the 3rd owners. This local car was stored from 1923 to 1955 The 2nd owner then hung the car from the rafters of his barn till 2008. He then started working on this car. When he passed away we purchased this car. I was able to get it running easily but the motor burned oil. We had a newly rebuilt 1927 T motor, done by BJ of "Ron's Machine Shop" ( of Cincinati) here, that was going to go into another "T" we were working on , so this motor was installed into the 1921, as the original 1921 ( motor which also goes with the car) needs valve job and rings. Bearings and tranny are fine and I drove this car about 10 miles before tear down, it did not knock. RON'S Machine shop rebuilt both tranny and motor with Stipe cam, Kevlar bands, jack Rabbit clutch and all new moving parts. We Have D &C newspaper article of the story of purchase by 2nd owner. . The reworking cost of the 1927 was motor and tranny at a cost over $4000 ( look them up about their work on the internet) The car itself was disassembled , sand blasted in and out and reassembled with all its original parts except for bushings and seals. I have many pics of the car showing it in various stages of its restoration. Due to back surgery issues I can not complete this car. Paint has not been rubbed out . All sheet metal is exceptional and except for splash aprons ( Rootlieb) original to this car. Currently licensed and inspected. Firewall is new. Needs seat cushion back and upholstery on that &and the top. Top bows and sockets are exceptional. We were told that the previous owner had started to restore this car & had installed new tires, rebuilt rear axle and upholstered the seat but criters ate the upholstery while stored.. Cash sale only, picked up here. Car starts easily with 1 yr old battery, no over heating issues! Has PURPLE HEAD LAMP LENSES that are very rare from decades of sitting exposed to the sun. Rebuilt front end & since only driven 1921-1923 almost no wear anywhere!!
