For sale by original owner. Need to sell because will move, having no room to store. Asking price $2,250, cash only.
16’-4” actual length, 32” max. width, Gunwale width: 28”. Weighs approx. 39 lbs. - easily carried/car-topped.
Features:
• Kevlar hull w/ PVC core stiffening.
• Clear “skin coat” fiberglass epoxy finish.
• Wood gunwales and thwarts; 3 fixed cane seats.
• Removable carrying yoke.
Purchased new in 1989. Used infrequently over 20 years, thereafter seldom used - mostly on open water (i.e., not abused). Garaged entire time.
Entire outside of hull just cosmetically refinished by pro. Outside hull had shallow scratches and skun marks, but no structural damage. The old fiberglass epoxy was removed, and two new coats of fiberglass epoxy applied to restore clear finish. Wood gunwales cleaned, then teak oil applied. Canoe not used since refinished.
