This boat was fully working and everything functioned at the time it was winterized and has been stored for years always covered up with many tarps in our driveway (all canvas canopies, vinyl seat cushions, cabin cushions, fishing gear, life preservers, anchors, bumpers, flares, flaregun, fire extinguisher, and most of the bridge electronics were removed prior to the boat going into storage and kept indoors at our house to preserve them). The hull has no leaks, cracks, or stress fractures. We have the owners manual, keys, canopy storage covers, and all the original documentation that came with the boat. The boat rides high in the water when under power and is able to confidently conquer even the biggest great lakes waves with ease. We tried our best to maintain this boat over the years with hopes of getting it back on the water someday, but now with my father's failing health we have decided to sell it. This boat probably wouldn't take much time or expense for a couple of handy guys to restore it to beautiful condition, and with a little TLC and polishing it would be a real headturner. This isn't a boat that broke down and was left to rot back in the overgrown woods of someones farm, we simply lost the time to use it.
It was primarily used for salmon fishing and the ESLO and LOTS derbies on Lake Ontario during the 80's through the early 90's, it was used on Seneca Lake fishing for trout, we took a family trip from Seneca lake through the canal and St. Lawrence Seaway to the Thousand Islands and back, we went fishing a few times at Henderson Harbor and Mud Bay, and it was last registered in 1993.
The boat needs to be cleaned and maintenance needs to be done as far as would be expected of a stored boat of this age. The fuel lines and rubber exhaust tubing need to be replaced, the tanks need to be pumped out, and it needs new batteries. The fabric along the back deck side compartments and the fabric headliner in the cabin need to be reglued in place. Sound deadening material was added to the engine compartment and cabin floors, in some places it has started to come off and may need to be removed or replaced.
Also included is some spare parts including propellers, a brand new fuel pump, carburetor gaskets, etc. The fishing gear for the boat is available for sale also, which includes 4 Big Jon Professional downriggers, side planers with 2 Big Jon downriggers, downrigger weights, fishing poles, and much more!
