A good share of this 1895 book was written by William Farley Peck who was a noted historian of Rochester at that time. There is an extensive history of Rochester as well as histories of each of the Towns in Monroe County. There are also chapters of lawyers and doctors. This first part is 492 pages.
Part 2 is biographies of the leading citizens. Some of those biographies include a portrait of the person. This part is 103 pages.
Part 3 is short family sketches. There are an average of 4 of these sketches per page. This part is 310 pages.
Then there is a 28 page index.
This is an original book from 1895. It appears that the leather spine has been re-glued. There is brown book tape holding together pages "vi" and "vii" (see pic. #4). The next two pages have some tears (see pic #5).
The book has a part leather cover and is glit-edged.
