Freshly painted, new carpet, all new West Elm Mid-Century Modern living room furniture along with retro antique bedroom furniture and recently upgraded/new mattress.
The mansion is set back from East Ave with a large side yard. The neighboring tenants are great... very friendly and quiet. We typically book guests for multiple months with rare/occasional shorter itineraries that become available between our regular leases.

Apartment stays comfortably cool in summer and wonderfully warm in winter. There is a brand new replacement bedroom window with a seasonal air conditioner if/when needed.
There are many wonderful architectural elements such as the common hall and staircase, common furnished porch, and a spacious side yard. Wonderful shared courtyard and common area porch with awning and comfortable furnishings overlooks landscaped double lot.
Kitchen is fully supplied with cookware and dishes/utensils. Bed and bath linens & blankets are included if needed for a small one-time $25 linen fee. If anything is not needed, we will store while you're here to free up space. A coin-op front load clothes washer and dryer is also available for your convenience, just steps away from your hall door. Washer is $2, dryer is $1.50, and we can exchange quarters with you if it helps!
Rent includes wonderful, even heat that is self controlled and plenty of hot water. A window AC unit is provided in the bedroom if desired. Electric is currently $45/month & shared WiFi/CATV is provided for $80/month. Fast WiFi speeds from 200Mbps - nearly 400Mbps; standard CATV with 100+ channels provided with a wall mounted smart Samsung HDTV. Reserved off-street parking. Base rent, $1800 + $45 electric + $80 WiFi/CATV = $1,925 per month for everything!
Sorry, no pets: We are animal lovers too, but please refrain from bringing animals with you during your stay. Our leases currently don't allow pets, cats, or dogs, not even small dogs. Only exception is a service dog which will never be left alone an the apartment. Please provide documentation in advance for service dogs.
Also, this is a non-smoking property. No smoking anywhere in the building or on the premises. It is a "no smoking property" inside and outside. We have not had any issues with our policies anywhere on the property. Thank you!
Finally, owners are on site, VERY responsive, and maintain the building very well. One owner is a licensed real estate broker.
