Essential Job Functions:
· Assist children with comfort and care measures while transporting. Attendants should respond appropriately when children are uncomfortable, frightened or otherwise upset.
· Assist with the completion of required documentation on the bus daily. Submit required paperwork to Director of Transportation as requested.
· Review blue cards and other paperwork weekly. Request missing / updated information from Site Directors weekly or as needed. Notify Director of Transportation of missing information.
· Assist children getting on an off the bus at each stop. Ensure children are secured in the appropriate safety seats and bags are stored safely.
· Assist with maintaining a clean, organized bus.
· Communicate effectively with center staff, drivers, other attendants, the Director of Transportation and other management staff.
· Ensure that any adults’ children are released to have prior authorization via the Blue Card or other written notification from the family. Verify identification for any adult not known and match the identification to written permission to release the child.
Other Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain respect and confidentiality when communicating with families.
· Ensure mail / paperwork is passed to families at pick up or drop off as needed.
· When behavior or other issues arise during transportation, communication with families should be documented on a conduct or courtesy report.
· When families are not following the transportation agreement, communicate violations in writing on the weekly attendance report.
Responsibilities include:

Requirements:
- Must have professional background in courier/small package distribution
- At least 5 years of management experience
- Knowledge of contract driver model
- Bachelor's degree

Under the direct supervision of the Lead Driver and accountable to Program Supervisors, the CDL Agency Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of consumers registered in The Community Place of Greater Rochester, Inc. Aging Services Program. Serve as a driver for the agency; which includes but is not limited to pick-ups, deliveries, transporting of students as well as other designated errands, all in a safe manner with full compliance to NYS Traffic Regulations and policies with specific emphasis on seat belt regulations and no standing in the aisle. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring safety of passengers at all times.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent is required. Must possess a valid NYS Commercial Driver’s License with a P and S endorsement. An excellent driving record is a must.

Job Duties
• Provide a high level delivery and installation service for large and heavy products to our customer’s homes and businesses.
