We're looking for an entry level "porter" position. A what?!! A PORTER! Some dealerships would refer to this position as a "lot boy". We believe this position offers much more potential to the ideal candidate.

Now, seriously, wanna know what it entails? Primary function is to maintain and assist in the upkeep of the building and grounds of Filer's PowerSports LLC. Secondary function is to support the Sales Team by maintaining/cleaning units for sale.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: �Trash removal as needed. Aware of refuse pick-up schedule and ensures all receptacles have been emptied into the exterior container before that container has been emptied.

�Building and Grounds maintenance � lawn care, weed control, parking lot upkeep, back storage area upkeep, walkways, shop, etc.

�Window cleaning as needed, exterior door cleaning daily.

�Restroom maintenance and upkeep. Cleans, maintains, and restocks restroom facilities.

�Off-loads inbound shipments. This generally applies to major units but can also encompass shipments unable to offload at our receiving area. This task will require safe operation of powered vehicles such as the forklift and Bobcat� and adequate training will be made available to the employee at the discretion of management.

�Cleans and maintains exterior major unit inventory. Typically, pre-owned as well as new units displayed outdoors.

�Safe transportation of powersports vehicles. Entails the use of shop vehicle(s) to pick-up and/or deliver vehicles beyond the scope of Filer's PowerSports property. Customer delivery, dealer transfers, etc. This facet of operation requires a valid, �clean�, New York driver�s license.

�Fills the fuel caddy when necessary.

�Trains, when time permits, with the Set-Up Technician on the processes outlined for that job function. The goal is to be able to adequately perform those tasks in the absence of the Set-Up Technician as well as work in conjunction with the Set-Up Technician when sales volume merits additional set-up and prep assistance.

�Performs any task necessary to maintain Filer's PowerSports appearance and promote safe operations.

That sums it up. You're going to do it all and you're going to enjoy it all? Why, because you're going to be on the best thing to happen to this area since some college idiot invented "funnels"!
