Honestly...how can you be so cold hearted to that poor person who lost their cat? Cats, inside cats, get out. Just this morning my HOUSECAT got out and until my dog was barking at her, I never ever realized it! Am I a bad "cat mom"? No...I was busy being a good mom to my real kids at the time. Plain and simple, cats enjoy the outside, these inside kitties, while safe and sound, still try to get outside sometimes.

Your point about the tags was correct, but inside cats rarely have them, and frankly it's dangerous to have a collar on a cat. Sadly, this persons cat is most likely not being enjoyed as a great pet by someone else. Something else probably happened...a 16lb declawed house kitty is not going to make it long "on the outside".

I found a handsome male yellow lab today around noon. He was running around in the road on County Rd 40 near the intersection of Wesley Rd & Stetson Rd. He was wearing an Invisible Fence Collar. He was a little older (some tarter on his teeth. If I were to guess I think he is between 5-8????) and is a little bit on the heavy side. I THINK he was neutered as well but didn't really check. I knocked on everyones door within a mile each direction but either no one was home or no one knew who's dog he was. I brought him to Lollypop Farm.

I am currently fostering a 9 week old black and white tuxedo male kitten who needs a permanent home! He will have medium length hair I think. He's absolutely adorable and has the biggest green eyes I've ever seen on a kitten, and I've fostered 11 this summer!

He's been wormed and litter trained but he will need his shots, and to be fixed when he's older. I do ask that you do not get him declawed.

He was found in someone's yard and is feral, so he's a bit skiddish around new people but after he gets to know you he will follow you around and beg for attention. He loves to be held and pet, and LOVES to purr! He was skinny when I got him but is starting to get chubby now!

I wish I could write directly to you but I don't know who you are.

My cat was very much loved, cherished, and treated like the king that he was convinced he was. I never told him otherwise.

My cat slept at my feet every night and never left my side when I cried or when I was sick. He knew I needed his presence. And I did. He has many of my tears in his thick, black fur.

I know you probably never thought that he was someones cat. Maybe you thought he was a stray as we have so very many stray cats in our city. He was not. He was not even an outdoor cat.

Did you know? Could you tell when you took him into your home? Did you see that he is declawed, fixed, well groomed, freshly bathed, and weighs a hefty 16 pounds. Can you tell how well treated he was by the way he now is with you? I hope so. I hope you wonder about me sometimes. I think of you often.

I loved him for 6 years and maybe that was all the time I was meant to have him. Maybe he was a gift in my life, allowing my heart to open up to be able to love other animals the way I loved him. You see, he was my first love. I have had many pets throughout my 35 years of life; none even held a candle to this cat.

As he sat and purred on my lap, or was wrapped around my neck like a fluffy kitty scarf, I often wondered aloud to him if he knew how much I loved him.

I have done it all; searching and calling his name, putting out the have-a-heart trap with a different, freshly worn, shirt of mine every night and his favorite food only to find that I had caught a stray cat the next morning, the hundreds of dollars in newspapers ads offering a reward, the "missing" posters my daughters and I made and hung around my neighborhood, the door to door searches, the crying and the sadness....

To whomever has my best buddy, please....just love him half as much as I do.

Baby Girl is very well behaved and is house broken. She will notify you when she needs to go to the bathroom, on average 3 walks a day. She enjoys a little play time but spends most of her time sleeping, old age.

MelMo are brother and sister. They sleep about 13 hours a day. When they are up they are very playful. Great with kids and don't bite. They eat every 4 hours and need at least 4 hours of run/play time in a secure/child proof room.

Daisy is a 4 year old female purebred Tree Walker Coonhound. She has had a tough life. She was given up last year, found a nice home and brought back to the shelter after only 6 months because the family didnt have time for her.
She then spent another few months in the shelter and was returned because she

I went through and counted everybody and separated and got pictures. We have 18 rats total. Colors and genders aren't 100%, but it's my best guess. The pictures are a bit off, the females have 1 fawn male that I originally thought was female and the males are missing 1, obviously.

They love being around people. Our oldest is Silver. He is the grey striped cat. He's very calm and very very loving! Silver listens very well and loves to play catch! We got him from lolly pop in september and he is 1 year and 3 months. Our other little guy is Hitler. He is the black and white one. My manager's cat had a litter this past Feb. so we decided to give Silver a friend!(she named him that bc he has a black patch under his nose and chin) He's very playful and loves to lay on everyones lap!

We really want them to go together because they love eachother a lot! They're toys will go with them. We have a little play house for them that will go with them also. Food dishes and food as well.

We are a business located in Clifton Springs (about 1/2 hour from Rochester, between Shortsville & Geneva). We make belly bands and sell them through our website. Belly bands are diapers for male dogs who have a habit of lifting their legs in the house and marking on your furniture or carpet. Also great for older dogs who are incontinent and puppies in training to be housebroken.

Our belly bands are made of soft cotton/flannel and are fully lined with flannel. Just wrap them around your dog's waist, velcro closed and when your dog lifts his leg, he will pee in the bands instead of on your furniture or carpet. You can also place a sanitary pad inside the band if you want so you won't have to wash the bands as often. The bands are completely machine washable.

There are currently 168 cats and kittens posted on Lollypop Farm's website (www.lollypop.org) Some of which have been there since February! If you are looking for a fur baby, that's a great place to look. If you're looking for a "free" kitten because you can't afford to buy one, you shouldn't be getting a cat because they will just end up at Lollypop when you cannot afford it anymore anyway. So please, when you're considering adding a new family member to your home, think of Lollypop or other rescues/shelters. They will come spayed/neutered with shots, and many times they will be microchipped and come with a month's worth of pet insurance and a free first vet visit, which I have never had a problem using. All of my little ones have come from either Lollypop or Rochester Animal Services and they have been absolutely wonderful. Please consider doing the right thing when you think about adopting.
