I wanted a pet, so I got one. But I am tired of taking care of it, and paying for it. I might even be moving, in which case I would have to pay a pet deposit or spend an extra 30 seconds planning how to take along my pet. Maybe I decided to have a baby or get a boyfriend (or girlfriend). Anyhow, I don't want my pet anymore. Oh wait, that sounds every bit as selfish as I am. I mean, I can't keep my pet. Yeah, that's it. Oh allergies- YES, I suddenly got allergies. No one will question that.

Now about my pet. I've had it since it was a kitten (or pup, or egg if reptilian) and now it's middle aged, the age NO ONE wants to adopt, but didn't you see- I need someone to take care of it.

Anyhow, since this process will be very upsetting for my formerly precious pet (and because I may feel an inkling of guilt) I want the adopter to give it a home where there are no other pets, so it doesn't have to share your affections (even though I've been ignoring it for months). Now let me tell you how sweet, lovable, and darling he/she is. Also, allow me to fail to mention that he/she has a urination issue when scared, or he/she eat sofas, etc.

Oh, and I think you should pay a fee to show you're capable of buying cat food. And plus I spent money on it 8 years ago and heck I can get a few boxes of diapers for the baby with that cash.

Besides, everyone knows that you can tell a person who's taking your pet to be a test lab subject by whether or not they'll shell out $50. If my pet is purebred, I will likely try to charge you hundreds. Because I spend hundreds and this is a very valuable pet. I just don't want it anymore. But YOU should want it enough to help me recoup my original purchase price.

Now, I hope you'll take it right to the vet, because he/she is behind on shots. And was never spayed/neutered. And make sure it gets premium food and all the things it deserves, but I am too selfish to even continue to care for it. And remember, this is a commitment- you better not take it and then change your mind ever because only I can do that. Now that I dumped him/her on you, he/she is too traumatized to ever face that again.

Last of all, I will now close by telling you that I need this person who takes over my responsibility to come along quickly, because otherwise I *may* have to take him/her to the pound. My bird is a hand tamed cockatiel and will come with everything needed to care for him (I am unsure of the sex, but always thought it was a him). his food perches and toys as well as his cage. he is peach faced, with a yellow tail and a gray and white body. beautiful bird. Doesn't know how to sing or talk, but imitates people and noises. He is very well behaved, I can even clip his wings myself without a hassel. He is about 8 months old, I have had him since he was a baby.

My dog is one year old. he is a papillion poodle mix. he is intact weighs maybe 10 pounds, he is full grown. he has been raised with kids and another dog... does fine with all of them, never a bit or a growl from him towards anyone. he is shy at first but warms up fast. he is a sweet heart and I hate to see him go, still, I have no other options at this point. he isn't house broken yet, but is on his way. he is pee pad trained for the most part and does well with that as long as the pads are in consistant areas in the house. because of his breed, and the fact that he doesn't shed, he will need regualr grooming. I do this on my own with him, he's fine having his nails trimmed, and doesn't mind the clippers either. he is black and white has curly fur, and the face of a poodle but the ears of the papillion, (the moth kind, not the bufferly).

I do not have pics of either of them as I do not have a camera.

The rehoming fees, well, I would ask that they go to wonderful homes. I would also ask that you used the money you would give to me to give them a wonderful life... I am not concerned with making any money here, but would like to be sure they are going to wonderful homes, as they are so important to me... please feel free to email me, I check it regularly at JLL41183@gmail.com.

Right Now we have needs for: 3 schnauzers coming up from MO on Wednesday, lab pups that were abandoned outside because of a breeder, beagle pup with mange, and a basenji mix

A few important notes to make are:
*Most dogs take 2 weeks to acclimate to the new environment so we request that you please give the dog the full 2 weeks before making a decision. Many dogs "act out" if they are under a lot of stress from a new environment. We highly recommend that there is a 2 week "shut down" period and provide articles on how to achieve a great experience with your new dog.

*We are asking that anyone interested in larger breed dogs have a fully fenced yard or more than 5 acres and own their own home. as we see too many dogs being posted on CL for "not having enough space or time to exercise the dog and I am moving" and we want to ensure our adoption rates stay at 100%. Smaller breed dogs like Shih Tzu, Schnauzers, etc. do not have to be fenced.

*We also recommend that if you choose not to adopt the dog that you consider fostering them after you make the decision. This is for obvious reasons that we hope that you choose to adopt, but if you do not we may not have alternate placing for the dog in some cases. Our foster homes fill up quickly and we cannot always guarantee that a space is open at the exact time you decide to not keep a dog. If there are serious concerns as to why you cannot keep the dog, we will obviously look to find a better solution ASAP.

We do not charge an adoption fee until you make the decision to adopt after the 2-4 week program. Our adoption fees are generally $100-200 which include spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a clean bill of health.
