Department: Incoming Inspection

Requirements: Minimum five years experience inspecting mechanical parts

Two years experience programming with PC-DMIS CMM software

Two years experience with 3D Workshop CMM software

Strong ability to read, interpret mechanical drawings

Ability to use MS Word, Excel, and perform data entry using webbased

interface

Can execute good judgment on subjective measurements

Responsibilities: Inspecting incoming material based on mechanical drawings

Pass/Fail lots according to defined procedures

Performing mechanical measurements with CMM, vernier calipers,

micrometers, thread gages, height gages, etc.

Performing visual inspection based on presence of mechanical

features and cosmetic class specifications

Entering critical to quality data into mechanical inspection database

Creating electronic inspection templates based on reading

critical parameters from mechanical drawings
