The LPN is responsible for the delivery of nursing services to assigned patients. The duties and responsibilities for the care to be delivered by the LPN are identified and defined by the Supervising CHN. The LPN most often is responsible for administering specific nursing interventions, such as dressing changes, catheter care, injections and may also be involved in patient/family teaching.
Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing, valid NYS LPN license, and a minimum of 4 years experience in an acute care setting or equivalent thereof. Experience in administering medication. Valid NYS driver’s license. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
