Private-duty nurse (LPN/RN, must have NYS Medicaid number) for 10-year old in our Penfield home. Child attends school program, so hours are weekday evenings (4pm -7 or 8pm) and weekends. Flexible month-to-month based schedule. We allow multiple nurses to fill the positions and to vary their days based on their availability, so you can easily work 1 to many shifts per month as your schedule permits.
Child has undiagnosed metabolic disorder and seizure disorder (mostly under control through medications). She is low-tech, g-tube fed, non-ambulatory. Duties include preparing & monitoring g-tube feedings, preparing & administering meds, assisting with some in-home based therapy sessions, giving daily baths (we have a track and lift). Child weighs approximately 60 lbs. Some lifting required.

Current group of nurses have been with us from 18 mos to 5 years. Due to changes in some of their availability due to schooling or family situations, we currently have openings in the schedule. We can allow you to talk with one or more of our current nurses as part of pursuing this opportunity.
