RESPONSIBLE TO:
* Directly responsible to the Clinical Manager
NURSING RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Works with providers, as needed, based on staffing needs. Follows job description as outlined for office nursing.
* Provides Daily supervision of the clinical staff and the handling of patient care.
* Ensures staff adherence to protocols and standards as set by practice and Regulatory agencies, adhering to OSHA requirements for bloodbourne pathogens
* Assists Clinical Manager in staff training and enforcement of new and existing policies and procedures.
* Responsible for the overall functioning and processing of laboratory specimens and testing.
* Responsible for the review and distribution of patient test results, including, but not limited to cultures, pathologies, bloodwork, ultrasounds and patient correspondence.
* Coordinates and supervises the clinical ordering, laboratory cleanliness and clinical maintenance functions, as required.
* Ensures that provider's schedules are kept timely and patient flow is adequate.
* Acts as liaison between other department leads, communicating with Clinical Manager, Operations Manager and/or Practice Administrator as needed
* Forwards complaints or problems regarding clinical issues from patients, staff or physicians to the Clinical Manager or Practice Manger.
* Helps ensure that all billing related policies, procedures and activities within the Practice comply with the rules and regulations of third parties, and assists providers and staff with compliance of such.
JOB DISCRIPTION: Clinical Lead
* Facilitates the initial prenatal patient appointment, providing patient with prenatal information and education as outlined by the practice.
* Maintains the privacy and confidentiality of all patient and Practice information and follows the necessary standards according to HIPPA guidelines.
* Provides Input to the Clinical Manager for the annual performance appraisal of clinical staff.
* Helps to foster a "team approach "among co-workers in the clinical area and throughout the entire organization, between departments and offices, to best serve the needs of our patients.
* Reviews and evaluates clinical processes for effectiveness, works with the Clinical Manager to develop and streamline processes.
* Work with Clinical Manager to institute new in office based surgeries, developing protocols and procedural practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* LPN, RN or equivalent degree
* Previous Ob/Gyn experience preferred
* Previous supervisory/management experience preferred
* Professional demeanor and appearance.
* Good organizational and communication skills
Location: Greece
Compensation: $16-17/hr depending on experience
