Patient Care Tech/Med Assistant with EKG Experience
Descriptions of Job Duties: Participate in the delivery of patient care by performing basic and specialized physical and psychosocial interventions as defined by the PCT Skill Inventory. Tasks include collecting and recording of specimens and body fluids. Collects specimens, perfoms basic tests or sends specimens to appropriate laboratory for analysis per Hospital policies.
Performs technical procedures and reports findings to the nursing staff. Tasks include: performing venipuncture for blood samples, performing EKG's, placing electrodes and obtaining telemetry readings.
