Work Order Processor / Administrator (Rochester, NY)
Procom Services is currently seeking a Work Order Processor for a 26 week contract position with our client based in Rochester, NY. This position requires the following:
The Work Order Processor / Administrator is responsible for clerical activities required to process telephony work order requests from our client's customers, and working with our vendors to ensure that work in completed in a timely and quality manner.
Minimum required skills and experience:
Good written communication skills
Minimum one year experience using desktop PC and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook email
Minimum one year Customer Service experience
Additonal skills that will be helpful:
Experience using ticketing systems
General knowledge of telephony terms and concepts
Minimum education is a high school degree.
Specific tasks are:
• Monitor Outlook mailbox for incoming orders. Read orders and screen for minimum information and format.
• Open ticket in Remedy-based ticketing system.
• Completely translate work order information to vendors in a timely manner, by sending email.
• Monitor vendors for completion (via email or web) of requested work and engage vendors as needed (via email or phone) to request status or escalate.
• Respond to email or phone requests for status
• Update tickets with status and other information to allow other ticket readers to accurately track progress
• Close tickets to ensure that performance against SLAs is recorded properly in all cases.
